Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain the highest level of customer expectations in the industry.

• Promote all product lines, features and benefits of our business unit.

• Process customer orders (order entry)

• Promote the use of online ordering

• Expedite customer stock orders, unit down and special orders

• Follow-up on back orders and stock transfers

• Determine customer needs for merchandise and provide information on current promotions

• Promote all product lines and solicit sales

Operational Support May Include:

• Assist in inventory control activities, such as cycling counts, annual inventory and maintaining bin location accuracy
• Provide problem resolution that arises with customers, manufacturers and associates
• Ensure efficiency and accuracy of the distribution team in areas such as receiving, picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
• Monitor and reconcile part returns from customers, manufacturers including special returns, annual returns, cores and warranties
• Promote a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment and inventory
• Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities as needed

Successful Customer Service Representative Will Have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of related experience in wholesale distributor, heavy-duty and commercial after-market parts suppliers, is preferred, but not a requirement
• Excellent communication (oral & written)
• Customer service oriented

• Will frequently use a computer completing daily activities
• May be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be more than 50+ lbs. with lift assist device

• The associate will be regularly exposed typical inside and outside environmental conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances

The annualized pay ranges vary based on work location. The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
