Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative and are hoping to find someone with agronomic or horticultural experience.  As part of this sales and service job, you will assist walk-in customers, receive showroom inventory, merchandise products, and learn a great deal about our products.

More specifically, you will:

• Conduct front counter and telephone sales while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist in inventory control of showroom inventory.
• Stock and merchandise shelves with products.
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom and perform general housekeeping functions, including the cleaning of floors, shelves, windows, and doors.
• Confer with new and established customer base; promote and take customer orders.
• Assist outside sales personnel to enhance communication with customer base.
• Contact customers in response to inquiries and notify them of promotional sales.
• Support the overall business success and needs of our customers.
• Perform a variety of various light office work.

To apply for this position, you must have a high school diploma (or GED). Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Bilingual is preferred and experience with AS400 would be a plus.

The candidate will be compensated based on their work experiences and skills, with the minimum starting salary for this position being $18.00 per hour.
