Major Duties of Job:
 
  • Daily support for customer accounts, as assigned
  • Manage domestic and international customer orders from receipt to shipment
  • Provide Quotations and information promptly, as requested  
  • Work with McGean’s 3PL to arrange transportation
  • Work with internal departments to meet customer expectations and actively resolve problems
  • Participate in the onboarding of new business opportunities
  • Understand the requirements for transportation of a variety of chemicals, including hazardous materials
  • Participate in meetings with the Sales and Manufacturing Teams
  • Support the missions of the Sales, Marketing & Operations departments
  • Understand Customer Service Level ratings and participate in improvement plans
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Measures of Performance
  • Efficient and accurate execution of the duties of the job
  • Accountability for customer satisfaction
  • Maintenance of excellent relationships with key accounts
  • Maintenance of good communications and relations with internal departments to facilitate the success of the business and company
 
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college or college degree preferred
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of transportation and global incoterms and ship modes
  • Effective problem solver
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Microsoft Office skills

Once trained, working hybrid is optional
