Major Duties of Job:

Daily support for customer accounts, as assigned
Manage domestic and international customer orders from receipt to shipment
Provide Quotations and information promptly, as requested
Work with McGean’s 3PL to arrange transportation
Work with internal departments to meet customer expectations and actively resolve problems
Participate in the onboarding of new business opportunities
Understand the requirements for transportation of a variety of chemicals, including hazardous materials
Participate in meetings with the Sales and Manufacturing Teams
Support the missions of the Sales, Marketing & Operations departments
Understand Customer Service Level ratings and participate in improvement plans
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Other duties as assigned

Measures of Performance

Efficient and accurate execution of the duties of the job
Accountability for customer satisfaction
Maintenance of excellent relationships with key accounts
Maintenance of good communications and relations with internal departments to facilitate the success of the business and company

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, some college or college degree preferred
Customer Service Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of transportation and global incoterms and ship modes
Effective problem solver
Experience with ERP systems
Microsoft Office skills

Once trained, working hybrid is optional
