Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team! This person will be responsible for supporting global customers with daily freight and transportation solutions. This role partners with customers, business partners, and carriers to ensure service commitments are met and issues are resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled at multitasking, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering responsive, solutions-focused customer service.

Opportunity: 26-week contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Location: Clive, Iowa

Payrate: $20-$24/hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and business partners via email with occasional telephone use
• Field customer inquiries in a calm, professional manner
• Diagnose, assess, and resolve problems or issues
• Monitor open orders that require scheduled transportation
• Data retrieval and entry into our TMS for missing shipment statuses
• Process changes or cancellations to delivery orders

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a customer service role within a call center, answering and responding to customers, resolving problems and issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge or experience within either Transportation or Warehousing Industries preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the drive to resolve issues
