Customer Service Representative-Commercial Insurance

Ryder Rosacker McCue & Huston Insurance Agency is a locally owned Independent Insurance Agency located in Grand Island, Nebraska. We are growing, and we are looking to hire the right individuals to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to add full-time positions to our department that specializes in commercial insurance. These positions support our sales staff and provide service to business customers. Insurance industry knowledge and experience is not required but would be beneficial.

Salary Range: $38000.00 - $47500.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing service and support to foster strong relationships with our customers and maintain a high level of client retention and loyalty.
• Submit and follow up on customer requests.
• Maintain follow-up on activities with insurance carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
• Review policies and other related documents for accuracy.
• Process completed customer policy change requests and prepare invoices.
• Maintain accurate customer database.

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coachable.
• Be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Work well with other employees and be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• No insurance experience required but must be able to obtain Property & Casualty insurance license.
