This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a call-center and in-person setting, assisting with utility service requests, billing inquiries, and meter readings.
- Assist customers with service connections, disconnections, transfers, and billing concerns via phone or in person.
- Guide customers on using self-service portals and auto-draft options.
- Review and adjust utility charges, generate work orders, and reconcile payments.
- Maintain knowledge of policies, rates, and operational procedures to provide accurate information.
- Process payments, prepare reports, and perform data entry using computer software.
- Address customer inquiries professionally, escalate complex issues, and support utility-related communications.
Requirements include a high school diploma, customer service experience, and proficiency in computer skills; bilingual skills are preferred. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform job duties are necessary.
