About the Opportunity – Customer Service Representative
A reputable organization is seeking a Credit Screening Representative to support accurate and compliant lending decisions. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoy analyzing financial data while collaborating across internal teams.


Key Responsibilities – Credit Screening Representative

  • Perform detailed credit risk evaluations to support sound lending decisions while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines

  • Assess applicant financial strength by reviewing credit reports, financial statements, and relevant market indicators

  • Review loan applications, including financial background and collateral, and recommend appropriate credit terms and conditions

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, underwriting, and legal to gather, validate, and interpret applicant information

  • Provide customer support via phone, email, and chat by resolving credit report discrepancies and missing or inaccurate bureau data

  • Participate in conference calls with consumers and creditors to verify balances, payment histories, and account details

  • Share process knowledge and best practices with team members to support overall performance

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees, including conference call procedures and supplemental report preparation


Qualifications – Credit Screening Representative

  • Recent experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic proficiency with Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet navigation

  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting phone, quality, and performance metrics

  • Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support peers and contribute to shared success
