Inertial Aerospace a HEICO Company (NYSE: HEI) is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our Avionics team. This position will be located at our Highland Heights, OH Facility and will be a 1st shift position. Inertial Aerospace has decades of experience in the aviation industry and continues to be the leader in the Repair of Inertial Navigation Equipment. The company was acquired by HEICO Corporation in 2001 and continues to play a critical role within the industry known for its innovation.


 


The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a critical role within the operation of the company. The CSR acts as the liaison between the customer and Inertial’s operations team.  A friendly voice, willingness to help, and swift response to questions are crucial to the success of this position and the success of IAS. This role will directly report to the Director of Operations.



Job Description:


 



  • Process quotes on a daily basis as needed 

  • Handle pricing and quoting of repair orders to the customers and make necessary calls for any special requests as needed   

  • Email completed quotes to customers for approval 

  • Update Pentagon (ERP System) and file quote approvals when received 

  • Process warranty paperwork and teardowns as per company policy 

  • Ship and Invoice as needed

  • Open work orders as needed  

  • Answer incoming calls as needed

  • Handle expedite requests and refer to the Production Manager accordingly

  • Handle status requests as needed by the customer

  • Inform the Director of Operations of any issues or concerns that may be in the best interest of the company and/or the customer

  • Use of email to send/receive quotes and customers’ correspondence 

  • Any other tasks assigned by Management 


Skills required:



  • Three (3) years’ experience required in related field

  • Proficient use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

  • Friendly telephone skills, with a professional use of language

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary 

  • Ability to work in a team environment to meet required deadlines

  • Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention for detail

  • Must work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks

  • Aviation related experience preferred

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attendance and a positive attitude
