Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** This position is responsible for all aspects of customer service; receiving and processing orders, direct communication with truck drivers and customers, follow up and problem solve orders when necessary, and provide efficient and professional service to drivers and customers. + Provide exceptional customer and driver support by processing orders, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. + Manage high‑volume calls and communications with truck drivers and plant personnel across 12 scale locations. + Issue accurate tickets, maintain organized transaction records, and process overweight permits daily. + Enter customer and job data into JWS and coordinate deliveries with freight carriers for efficiency. + Communicate order confirmations, status updates, and ensure timely, accurate order processing. + Provide after‑hours or early‑morning shift coverage as needed, including during inclement weather. + Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and rotational Saturdays 6:00AM - 12:00PM. Ability to work 4:00AM - 12:00PM shift as needed for vacation coverage. **What Are We Looking For** + Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. + Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in using business systems and tools to support customer service functions. + Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. + Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement. **Experience and Skills** + Bilingual in Spanish required; customer service and sales experience preferred. + Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette. + Proficiency in Windows-based programs, JWS, and SAP systems. + Knowledge of aggregates or construction materials helpful. + High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional training preferred. **Work Environment** This role is based in an office setting within an aggregates operation. It may require occasional visits to plant or site locations.
