Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $25.00 $27.00 per hour

Shift: Monday Friday | 8 AM 5 PM

  • Taking customer requests, reviewing their technical data and specifications, and preparing quotes based on the information provided.
  • Must have Mechanical and Electrical manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service skills and solid data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills over email, phone, and typing skills (please list WPM on resume)
  • Will help customers with orders, quotes, tracking, and any related issues.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain contact with customers about topics that include technical, commercial, and price-based inquiries.
  • Perform budgetary and formal bid requests to determine product specifications and bid parameters, qualifications, stipulations, and time frames.
  • Participate in the project contract process, from quoting to sale or possible loss, by justifying, recording, and monitoring the projects through the issue of quotations, the influence of customer decision, order entry, product order fulfillment, and after-sales product completion efforts.
  • Provide customers with alternative products for consideration.
  • Maintain timely and consistent communication with sales personnel regarding the status of pending quotations.
  • Secure the needed information from customers.
  • Draw submittal/approval processes and negotiations.
  • Foster relationships with a variety of customers.
  • Coordinate with product managers, sales managers, marketing associates, and customers.
