Customer Service Representative II

Location: 77054



We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative II to support customers with orders, shipments, documentation, and day-to-day communication. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong computer skills, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders including LTL, FTL, FedEx Ground, UPS, and other shipments

  • Coordinate domestic and international small-package shipments

  • Prepare, package, label, and document shipments

  • Handle both hazardous and non-hazardous materials

  • Create Bills of Lading (BOLs)

  • Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, production, and management

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email

  • Complete accurate data entry

  • Create and edit documents in Microsoft Word

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel

  • Print labels for orders and shipments

  • Provide backup support for phones and front desk as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

Certifications
Experience with hazardous materials and shipping regulations is a plus. Training will be provided for:

  • DOT Hazardous Materials Certification

  • IATA/Multi-Modal Certification

  • CVI Registration
