We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative II to support customers with orders, shipments, documentation, and day-to-day communication. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong computer skills, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Manage customer orders including LTL, FTL, FedEx Ground, UPS, and other shipments
Coordinate domestic and international small-package shipments
Prepare, package, label, and document shipments
Handle both hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Create Bills of Lading (BOLs)
Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, production, and management
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
Complete accurate data entry
Create and edit documents in Microsoft Word
Create and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
Print labels for orders and shipments
Provide backup support for phones and front desk as needed
Qualifications
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
Certifications
Experience with hazardous materials and shipping regulations is a plus. Training will be provided for:
DOT Hazardous Materials Certification
IATA/Multi-Modal Certification
CVI Registration
