Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as a key liaison between our customers, sales team, production department, purchasing, and other departments as needed. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer support, assist with product and service inquiries, coordinate customer requirements internally, and ensure timely communication throughout the sales and production process.

This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys building customer relationships, solving problems, and supporting technical products and services in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, services, quotes, orders, repairs, and calibration services. You will provide timely, professional, and accurate written and verbal communication with customers.

Collaborate closely with the sales team to support quote preparation, order processing, customer follow-up, and account management activities. Coordinate customer requirements and project status updates with machine shop personnel, engineering staff, and production teams.

Communicate lead times, order status, shipment information, and project updates to customers. Assist customers in identifying appropriate load cells, weighing components, calibration services, and related measurement solutions.

Enter and maintain accurate customer, order, and service records in company systems. Process purchase orders, sales orders, and service requests while ensuring attention to detail.

Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service issues in a professional and courteous manner. Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and industry applications.

The successful candidate will consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences, maintain clear communication between customers and internal teams, ensure accurate order processing, and contribute to the company's reputation for precision, quality, and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service, inside sales, sales support, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or technical support experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, sales personnel, and production teams
• Exceptional organization, multitasking, and time management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to learn technical products and communicate product information clearly to customers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience are strongly encouraged to apply:

• Knowledge of load cells, force measurement systems, industrial scales, weighing equipment, calibration services, or related industrial instrumentation.
• Experience supporting customers in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial, or technical environments.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or manufacturing order management systems.
• Experience reading technical specifications, product catalogs, or engineering documentation.
