Customer Service Representative (Hybrid 2-3days in office Option)

Location: Garden City, NY 11530
Current Office Location: Aqueduct
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Shifts may range from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Position Type: Full-Time / Hybrid Option

Our client is looking for several Customer Service Representatives to join their customer service team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule; however, candidates must be aware of the current on-site requirement.

Staff are currently required to report to the office two times per week. The current office location is in Garden City.

This role requires experienced customer service professionals who can deliver top-tier service across phone, email, live chat, and fax platforms. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while supporting customer accounts and wagering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound customer inquiries, disputes, and cancellation requests via phone, live chat, and email

Create and maintain wagering accounts

Process various financial transactions

Identify financial, fraud, or risk concerns on customer accounts

Maintain both digital and physical customer records

Generate reports as needed

Report hardware and software issues to the service desk

Provide support to internal teams, partners, customers, and vendors

Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or technical certification required

Minimum of 3 years of customer service or call center experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts between 9:00 AM and 12:00 AM

Must be available to report on-site two times per week

Must be able to obtain the required license at the job location. The license cost is approximately $100 and will be reimbursed after 30 days of employment.

Additional Information:

This position currently requires employees to report to The office location in  Garden City.  Candidates must be comfortable with the current on-site requirement.
