The Customer Service Representative (CSR) I is responsible for retaining existing relationships and establishing new deposit accounts by branch goals. This position is responsible for promoting and cross-selling bank products and services.
Essential duties and responsibilities include opening new accounts, complying with regulations, assessing customer needs, functioning as a teller, supporting branch goals, referring new business, resolving customer concerns, developing customer loyalty, providing ancillary services, maintaining documentation, adhering to work schedules, and performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications include high school or GED, specialized schooling, communication skills, mathematical skills, critical thinking skills, and basic software skills. Preferred courses and experience in banking are also noted. Working conditions involve some disagreeable elements, including noise, intermittent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The position may require working alternative locations within the region or market.
