What You'll Do as a Customer Service Representative

In this multi-faceted role, you'll be the go-to contact for customer needs, providing top-tier support and ensuring every interaction reflects the Kirby Risk standard of service.

You'll:

Deliver outstanding customer service-exceeding expectations and honoring every commitment.Partner with outside sales to support customers and strengthen relationships.Coordinate with vendors to ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule.Support corporate marketing efforts such as product launches and training events.Engage in a variety of responsibilities, with a strong focus on warehouse operations and delivery driving including:

Counter and Inside SalesWarehousing and Inventory ManagementDriving and DeliveriesVendor and Customer CommunicationsOrder Entry and Product Support

What Makes You a Great Fit

College coursework and/or 2+ years of relevant work experienceStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesQuick learner who's eager to grow and apply new knowledgeAbility to obtain and maintain a valid For-Hire LicenseExperience in business-to-business sales or electrical distribution preferred

What to Expect in This Role

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Valid driver's license requiredComfort with multi-line phone systems and warehouse operationsExperience with inventory management and loading/unloading shipmentsForklift experience a plusSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm, with overtime as needed
