Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

WORK LOCATION

Sleep Center: 714 N Senate Ave.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and interpret medical records, physician notes, and clinical documentation to identify required information for prior authorization submissions.

  • Prepare, compile, and submit accurate prior authorization requests in accordance with payer guidelines and medical necessity requirements.

  • Communicate with insurance companies via phone and electronic systems to initiate, monitor, and follow up on authorization requests.

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while delivering professional, efficient customer service.

  • Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and internal teams to clarify documentation and ensure complete and accurate submissions.

  • Analyze payer policies and requirements to determine appropriate supporting clinical information.

  • Track authorization status and proactively follow up to ensure timely approvals and minimize delays in patient care.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all interactions, submissions, and patient/customer information in designated systems.

  • Resolve routine issues by determining appropriate solutions aligned with organizational guidelines and patient needs.

  • Process service requests, including orders, scheduling, referrals, and insurance-related inquiries.

  • Support multiple locations while managing complex information with strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability.

  • Uphold professionalism and maintain a positive attitude in all patient and customer interactions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Requires the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
