ChristianaCare is seeking a Customer Service Specialist II in Wilmington, DE.
The position a call center like position responsible for taking incoming calls for General Surgery, Podiatry, Colorectal Surgery, and Bariatrics.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8am to 430pm, must be flexible.
This is an on-site position at our Avenue North location in Wilmington, DE.
Duties / Responsibilities:
As a customer service specialist, you will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by accurately responding to high volume calls, scheduling appointments, and handling phone notes. You will demonstrate sound judgement in escalating urgent calls and use computer tools like scheduling modules and EMRs. You must be able to multitask and handle calls appropriately, using CCHS HEAT methodology when service issues arise. You will be interacting with patients, physicians, and staff, providing accurate communication. You will perform assigned work safely, adhering to departmental safety rules, and report unsafe activities to the manager.

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED required.
Prior call center, customer service and medical office related experience preferred.
Computer and key boarding skill required
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
