About the Agency
The Mississippi Division of Medicaid responsibly provides access to quality health coverage for vulnerable Mississippians. Medicaid provides health coverage for eligible, low-income populations in Mississippi. These populations include children, low-income families, pregnant women, the aged and disabled.
About the Position
This is level two Customer Service Representative work accountable for assisting with providing customer service that requires knowledge of procedures and processes within a specific area or function. At this level, employees provide information, answers, and guidance using technical knowledge acquired through experience. Performance of work requires the employee to organize their work on a daily or weekly basis and exercise independence and judgment that is greater than lower-level positions.

The position requires general knowledge of customer service principles and contact center operations, along with the ability to interpret and apply established policies and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle sensitive or difficult conversations in a professional and effective manner. The role also requires strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as the ability to work independently while contributing to overall team goals. Proficiency in computer systems, data entry, and navigating multiple systems is also necessary to effectively perform the responsibilities of the position.

Paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave
