The Mississippi Department of Education is seeking to employ an individual to serve in the position of Customer Service Representative IV as the Educator Effectiveness Representative for the Office of Teaching and Leading within the Division of Educator Effectiveness. The incumbent will support in advancing educator workforce effectiveness statewide through, high-quality observation, feedback, and professional learning, including direct support to users of the Mississippi Educator Career Continuum Archive (MECCA) PGS Portal.

What you'll need to be successful:
Fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. The candidate must possess strong listening, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The candidate will support with coordination of efforts across districts, universities, MDE offices, and other education stakeholders, including assist with the development, organization, and maintenance of program materials and institutional knowledge products. The candidate must demonstrate a high level of initiative and confidence in supporting with the design, organization, and facilitation of training sessions and other engagement activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Typically requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years of experience. Agency preferred qualifications: Experience as an educator or administrator with proven success in implementing the PGS is preferred.
