Compensation & Schedule
Starting pay: $16.00-18.00/hr depending on experience
Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week
Weekend and holiday availability may be required
What You'll Do
Welcome clients and their pets with professionalism and compassion
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages
Schedule and manage appointments using clinic software
Check patients in and out for appointments
Take notes and assist veterinarians with administrative support
Process invoices and collect payments
Maintain accurate client and patient records
Keep the reception area organized and inviting
Deliver exceptional customer service during both routine and stressful situations
Support a positive experience for pets, owners, and team members
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working with animals preferred
Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
Veterinary or healthcare office experience is a plus
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
Ability to remain calm and professional in emotional or high-pressure situations
