Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative provides clerical and customer support for a small, team-oriented department. This role focuses on preparing written correspondence, organizing incoming communications, and supporting pharmacy-related inquiries from various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Type and prepare response letters and other administrative documents for the team.
- Handle correspondence via fax and email, including routing, filing, and maintaining organized records.
- Provide information and support related to pharmacy claims resolutions.
- Offer pharmacy benefits information to members, providers, group administrators, and internal customer service staff.
- Support general administrative needs of the department as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience in a pharmacy or health care environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of college (at least 48 credit hours).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and dependability.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Preferred: 2 years of pharmacy technician experience (not required).
