Our client, a fast-paced and growing manufacturing company, is hiring an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team.
Compensation range of 65,000-75,000/yr. plus a great benefit package.
Location: Broadview, IL
Hours:1st Shift Schedule Mon-Fri
**Please note-this role will require you to work onsite, Monday-Friday. This role is NOT Hybrid/Remote.**
Qualified candidate will have 2+ years of experience with working knowledge of production flow processes in a manufacturingor production environment.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Manages customer orders/releases with a high degree of accuracy from order receipt through invoice payment for assigned customer accounts.
- Attend daily/weekly forecast meetings. Negotiating new shipping dates when original dates cannot be met and alerting Supply Chain Team when orders are outside of lead time.
- Communicates effectively with customers either by telephone, electronically or face-to-face order requirements.
- Assists production control with order status.
- Act as liaison between customer and internal departments when need arises.
- Maintains all customer specific requirements in ERP system.
- Communicates important information to Sales Account Managers and Sales Reps in a timely manner.
- Weekly reporting.
- Update and respond to customer inquiries.
- Enter releases and orders in the ERP system, ensuring orders are entered within 24 hours.
- Filing of customer purchase orders and other required information.
- Sets up and supports EDI system as needed.
