This position blends customer support and sales by serving as a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them place orders, resolve issues, and identify solutions that meet their needs.As a CSR, you'll work across multiple communication channels to provide timely, accurate support while building strong customer relationships that drive satisfaction, efficiency, and long-term success.What You'll Do* Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and chat, assisting with orders, returns, and delivery updates.* Provide accurate product information, including specifications, pricing, and availability.* Resolve customer questions and concerns efficiently to ensure a positive experience.* Understand customer needs and recommend products that align with their business goals.* Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products and services.* Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to ensure timely fulfillment.* Monitor product availability and proactively communicate any changes or delays.* Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and post-sale support.* Make outbound calls to check inventory levels, recommend refills, and introduce new products.* Maintain accurate customer and sales data to support reporting and analysis.* Confidently manage complex or unclear customer requests, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.What We're Looking For* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a business-related or technical field preferred.* Prior experience in customer service, counter sales, or inside sales is a plus.* Ability to learn and apply product knowledge quickly; experience with light-duty trailer products is preferred.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.* Experience using CRM systems and order processing tools is preferred.Why Work at Dexter* We invest in training, development, and career advancement.* Help customers succeed by delivering reliable solutions and exceptional service.* Enjoy a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to support you at work and beyond.Dexter cares for our people.?
