Customer Service Representatives in Albuquerque to support an important
Medicaid services project.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with
customer service, call center, contact center, healthcare, claims, or administrative support experience who want to expand their skills and gain valuable experience within a structured professional environment.
Medicaid or healthcare experience is a plus, but it is not required.
This is initially a temporary, approximately three-month assignment. The project may be extended based on business needs, and strong performers may be considered for additional opportunities within the organization.
What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers with questions related to Medicaid services and transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:- Handle routine inbound and outbound customer calls using established scripts and procedures.
- Listen to customer questions and determine the appropriate next steps or resolution.
- Provide accurate and professional information regarding available services and transactions.
- Gather necessary information from customers and accurately update internal databases and systems.
- Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately.
- Determine whether inquiries can be resolved directly or need to be transferred or escalated.
- Follow established operating procedures, quality standards, and service expectations.
- Maintain professional, courteous communication throughout every customer interaction.
- Ask for assistance or escalate issues when additional support is required.
Training and Schedule: You'll receive
three weeks of structured training to prepare you for the position.
Training Hours: Production Schedule:- Any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM MST
- Monday through Friday, with possible weekend scheduling
- Candidates must have the flexibility to work an assigned shift within the production operating hours.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for dependable, customer focused candidates who are comfortable working in a structured call center environment.
Preferred qualifications include:- Previous customer service, call center, contact center, or related experience.
- Medicaid, healthcare, medical claims, or healthcare customer service experience is highly desirable, but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to accurately document customer information.
- Ability to learn and follow established scripts, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills for straightforward customer inquiries.
- Ability to recognize when an issue should be transferred or escalated.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to successfully complete the full training program.
No skills testing is required.
