This position involves light clerical tasks such as answering, screening, and directing telephone calls to the appropriate personnel, as well as resolving caller inquiries related to orders and quotes.
Responding to customer requests for order tracking, expediting, and product availability is essential.
Perform order entry at sales invoicing and coordinate product requests from supply plants.
Notify customers about potential backorders, credit issues, and order status updates.
Act as a liaison between the sales center and plant departments to gather and relay information.
Process necessary paperwork to support daily sales center operations and handle other assigned duties.
Requirements include 1-3 years of customer service experience (door industry preferred), strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities across all levels.
Proficiency with PC software such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Lotus Notes, and strong math skills are needed.
A willingness to learn product details and processes, teamwork orientation, and adaptability are also important.
