Job Summary: Customer Service Representative 2 – Claims Division (SOAZ# 13969, Phoenix, AZ)
- Provide customer service and assistance to injured workers, attorneys, paralegals, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators regarding claims and file access.
- Process and verify records requests to ensure appropriate permission and party interest before granting access.
- Research claim records using database systems, microfiche, and microfilm.
- Receive, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments.
- Create and issue invoices for records requests, including calculating payment amounts and collecting payments.
- Follow up on outstanding payments by sending invoices and payment request letters.
- Update and maintain the Claims Division database with relevant information.
- Participate in Arizona Management System (AMS) activities, including daily huddles and staff meetings.
- Utilize computer knowledge and Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) to perform daily tasks.
- (Preferred) Apply call center experience to best support customer service functions.
