Customer Service Representative - Order Management

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Order Management for our client in Alpine, AL. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, a structured working style, and the composure to keep domestic and international customers confident while coordinating orders with production and shipping.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $19–$26/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This position is fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for domestic and international customers regarding orders, questions, complaints, and delivery updates

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Enter and manage customer orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)

• Verify pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and product codes before order release

• Track order progress by coordinating delivery timing with production and shipping, and send timely confirmations to customers

• Prepare customs documentation for international shipments

• Maintain accurate documentation and data in the ERP system

• Assist the Customer Service & Accounts Receivable Lead with Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoice checks, data entry, document flow, and basic reconciliations

• Provide Accounts Payable backup during absences and peak workloads

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience in inside sales, production planning and pricing, or shipping and freight carrier quotes and POs

• Excellent communication skills: clear, calm, and solution-oriented

• Strong organization, accuracy, and reliability

• Comfortable with high-volume data entry

• Basic financial understanding for Accounts Receivable support

• Team player who learns quickly

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Order entry or order processing experience in an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 (training available)

• Experience with international shipping and customs documentation

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite, office-based role in a manufacturing company. Work is computer-based and involves steady phone and email contact with customers, along with daily collaboration with the production and shipping teams. The pace can be fast at times, particularly around delivery deadlines and month-end, and the role calls for accuracy, organization, and a calm, solution-focused approach.
