Customer Service Representative

Western Pest Services is a premier provider of pest control solutions. Established in 1928, we have a legacy of excellence and the stability of an industry leader. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative based in our Parsippany, NJ headquarters location.

Responsibilities

Our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are the link between our customers and our service technicians. As a CSR, you will coordinate schedules, resolve customer issues and concerns, respond to service and sales inquiries, and communicate with our field operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and a quality experience to internal and external clients
  • Prioritize, plan and complete daily tasks, special projects, and assignments
  • Facilitate accounts receivable and collection efforts
  • Manage administrative requests and tasks
  • Provide proactive customer follow-up in a timely manner
  • Deliver accurate service and sales information
  • Maintain accurate records utilizing customer service software applications
  • Respond to leads and referrals
  • Partner with management to manage expectations and meet deadlines
  • Assist in scheduling of service routes
  • Produce accurate and timely reports
  • Ensure that work is complete and results are satisfactory
  • Assist in training of new team members as requested/needed
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Excellent phone etiquette and friendly, professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, i.e. multi-task
  • Knowledge of MS Office environment with Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates extensively via telephone and electronically with customers and co-workers
  • Strong collections experience preferred

Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
