Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Contract)
Location: Passaic, NJ
Max Pay Rate:18.50/hour
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Days Off: Wednesday & Thursday

Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred!

Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you'll work closely with customers, business partners, and drivers to ensure exceptional service by resolving delivery-related issues and providing timely support via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer and business partner inquiries via phone and email
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve delivery-related issues
  • Monitor delivery routes and shipment progress
  • Scan haul-away PODs and verify documentation
  • Process delivery order changes and cancellations
  • Maintain accurate records while providing excellent customer support

Required Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; MS Project is a plus)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Logistics or transportation industry experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
