Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Customer Service Representative based at its Pittsburgh, PA office. This position will be responsible for providing professional and efficient customer service for all interactions with the Magnetics Sales Department and external customers, covering the full customer service process from initial phone or email contact through order completion.

Magnetics is a leading world supplier of precision soft magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry. We specialize in the research, design, and production of high-quality powder cores, ferrite cores, and tape wound cores for applications such as chokes, inductors, filters, transformers, and power supply components used in alternative energy, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), telecommunications, aerospace, military, medical, and other electronic systems.

The primary responsibilities for this position include providing customers with pricing and delivery information, creating and processing customer quotations and orders in our ERP system (IFS), sending customer confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices, expediting customer orders, and resolving customer concerns. Additional responsibilities include consulting with Sales Engineers and the Purchasing, Shipping, Manufacturing, Costing, Compliance, and Logistics departments to ensure accurate order processing, and coordinating with internal and external personnel to support customer needs.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field along with up to 3 years of sales and/or customer service experience. Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and computer skills. Knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.
