The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Health Licensing Office (HLO) is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative (Public Service Representative 3).
This position plays a vital role in supporting the HLO Licensing Manager by overseeing authorization and renewal processes for the Board of Cosmetology. The successful candidate will review license applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documentation is submitted and applicants meet established qualifications. By assisting both current and prospective licensees, this role helps the Health Licensing Office provide high‑quality customer service while maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

This announcement is for 1, full-time, permanent, SEIU represented, Customer Service Representative (Public Service Representative 3) based in Salem, Oregon.
This is an in-office position. "Review Section 4: Working Conditions" in the position description (linked above) for more information.
This position is fully onsite and is not eligible for remote work due to the essential need for regular face‑to‑face interaction with customers, members of the public, and coworkers.
Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment.
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
