Job: Customer Service Representative
Location: Red Hook, NY
Salary: $45,000 - $70,000 BOE
Job Type: Could be Temp to Perm or Direct Perm
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities

Client Inquiries & Support:

Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding coverage, billing, and policy terms.

Policy Maintenance:

Process endorsements and policy changes, such as adding/removing vehicles, updating driver information, or changing coverage levels.

Documentation & Accuracy:

Maintain detailed, accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in our Agency Management System.

Qualifications:

Professional office experience
Strong administrative and customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Desire to learn and grow
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Excellent grammar and spelling skills
Strong attention to detail
Insurance experience is a plus but not required. Willing to train the right person.
Candidates who are not licensed as a property and casualty broker will be expected to become licensed within 12 months.
