Akkodis is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a Contract job with a client in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, order management, sales support, and ERP systems, along with the ability to support customers in manufacturing, industrial, utility, and technical environments.

Rate Range: $29/hour to $32/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities Include:

• Process customer orders, quotes, billing requests, and sales inquiries accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

• Review customer orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, lead times, product specifications, and order entry requirements using Oracle ERP or comparable business systems.

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, shipment schedules, product availability, lead times, and service requests.

• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met and delivery commitments are achieved.

• Manage expedite requests, delivery priorities, and order modifications while maintaining accurate customer records and documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience in customer service, order management, sales support, inside sales, administrative support, or a related customer-facing business function.

• Experience working with ERP systems and business applications to support order entry, customer account management, invoicing, and reporting activities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach to problem solving and relationship management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, process detailed information accurately, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Experience working with Oracle ERP systems in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments.

• Experience supporting customers within industrial manufacturing, utilities, electronics, instrumentation, automation, power generation, or technical product industries.

• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, production planning activities, shipping coordination, and customer account management functions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience resolving customer issues and coordinating solutions across multiple departments.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
