Position Summary Rite-A-Way Tree Service is looking for a Customer Service Representative as the first point of contact for customers, handling incoming phone calls and online inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on converting customer inquiries into scheduled estimates and service appointments, maintaining accurate customer records, and creating a positive customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities Phone Support (80%)
Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently. Schedule estimates and service appointments using company scheduling software. Gather and accurately document customer information and service requests. Answer questions about services, scheduling, billing, and service areas. Route technical inquiries to the appropriate estimator or manager. Make outbound calls to confirm, reschedule, or follow up on appointments. Follow established customer service standards and call procedures.
Online Lead Management (20%)
Respond promptly to website inquiries and online quote requests. Contact prospective customers by phone or email to collect additional information. Convert online leads into scheduled appointments. Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM and scheduling system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Two or more years of customer service, call center, receptionist, or phone support experience. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational, multitasking, and data entry abilities. Proficiency with computers, CRM systems, and scheduling software. Professional phone etiquette with dependable attendance.
