Customer Service Representative/Showroom Support

Client Overview:
Our client is a growing wholesale distributor operating a combined warehouse and showroom facility that serves architects, designers, developers, contractors, and builders. They are currently looking to add a Customer Service Representative/Showroom Support to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr - $23/hr

Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative/Showroom Support is a frontline customer-facing role responsible for delivering exceptional service to walk-in showroom visitors while providing vital day-to-day administrative and operational support to the outside Sales team.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative/Showroom Support:

• Greet and assist contractors, designers, and retail customers visiting the showroom to understand their needs and provide expert product solutions.
• Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Manage product samples, generate accurate quotes, and process orders efficiently.
• Coordinate closely with the outside Sales team to support field operations and follow up on client needs.
• Adapt to upcoming software transitions by learning new systems and updating internal processes.

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative/Showroom Support:

• Strong background in customer service, interpersonal communication, and relationship-building.
• Tech-savvy with solid computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software and ERP systems.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach and professional demeanor.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative/Showroom Support:

• Prior experience working with tile, construction, or building materials.
• Background in a product-based showroom or a similar B2B customer service environment.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
