ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2000 after spending years as a manufacturer’s rep selling building materials — a company I owned and eventually sold before being referred to State Farm by a lifelong friend. I’m a proud Ithaca College graduate with two daughters, and when I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me fly fishing, camping, or doing anything that gets me outdoors. Giving back to the community is important to me, and I enjoy supporting local police initiatives and children in need.

Our team includes five dedicated members, and I make it a priority to create a supportive, balanced work environment. I buy lunch for the team at least twice a week, often bring in coffee, and provide health benefits, strong work-life balance, and licensing reimbursement. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Tom Lewis - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
