Senior State Farm Service Specialist
Seattle, Washington | $59,000 to $68,000 Base Salary
We are a well established, Seattle based State Farm agency with three locations and an experienced, collaborative team. We are looking for an exceptional Senior State Farm Service Specialist who knows State Farm, understands Washington insurance, and genuinely enjoys taking care of customers.
This is a service focused position, not a sales position.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of recent State Farm agency experience in Washington State
 • Strong knowledge of State Farm auto, home, renters, condo, rental dwelling, umbrella, life, and personal lines products
 • Strong understanding of State Farm systems, underwriting,, eligibility, billing, and service processes
 • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
 • Extremely detail oriented, organized, and accurate
 • Personable, professional, and able to build relationships easily
 • Comfortable providing a high level of service to affluent clients with complex insurance needs and expectations
 • Comfortable handling difficult, sensitive, or complicated customer situations
 • Able to explain insurance clearly and efficiently
 • Able to work quickly, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
 • Strong problem solving skills and sound judgment
 • Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently
 • Strong follow through and commitment to taking ownership of customer requests through completion
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional service to existing State Farm customers
 • Process policy changes and service requests from beginning to completion
 • Assist with auto, home, renters, condo, rental dwelling, umbrella, life, and related policies
 • Handle vehicle and driver changes, billing questions, cancellations, reinstatements, underwriting requests, and documentation
 • Work with State Farm underwriting, billing, claims, and other departments as needed
 • Explain coverage, premiums, discounts, eligibility requirements, and policy changes
 • Handle complex customer conversations professionally and compassionately
 • Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding requests
 • Identify potential coverage concerns and situations requiring additional review
Compensation and Benefits
• Base salary: $59,000 to $68,000, depending on experience
