ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Customer Service & Sales Representative with Tim Hutcheson Agency, you’ll support customers and our service team by handling routine service requests while contributing to agency growth through consultative sales. This role is designed for someone who wants a career—not a “halfway in” position—who shows up every day, does the right thing, and is rewarded for consistent effort.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle routine customer service requests
• Respond to inquiries and provide accurate policy information
• Process policy changes, updates, and account maintenance
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on customer needs
• Conduct consultative conversations to recommend appropriate coverage
• Assist customers through the claims process and follow up as needed
• Maintain accurate customer and policy documentation
• Coordinate with the team to ensure timely, consistent service

SALES EXPECTATIONS

• Participate in inbound and outbound sales conversations
• Write new policies and add coverage for existing customers
• Follow up on warm leads, referrals, and coverage gaps
• Meet established sales and activity expectations
• Participate in sales coaching and development

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused with comfort in sales-oriented roles
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• Insurance licensing (or willingness to obtain) required
