Our client is a leading organization within the environmental services and infrastructure industry, providing essential solutions to commercial and residential customers across multiple markets. They are investing heavily in digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience, simplify payment processes, and improve service delivery.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding invoices, payments, account balances, autopay, and online payment platforms.
Assist customers with navigating digital payment tools and completing online payment transactions.
Support customers through payment system transitions and explain new processes, tools, and payment options.
Investigate billing and payment concerns, providing timely resolutions or appropriate escalations.
Partner closely with teams across Customer Experience, Financial Services, Billing, Credit, Sales, and Operations to resolve customer issues.
Process customer requests, account updates, payment-related changes, and documentation accurately.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, actions taken, and follow-up requirements.
Handle complex or sensitive customer situations professionally while focusing on positive outcomes.
Identify recurring customer issues and communicate process improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders.
Provide support across accounts receivable activities, payment reconciliation, credit-related inquiries, and billing reviews.
Adapt to evolving processes, system enhancements, and digital payment initiatives.

A successful Customer Service Representative should have:
Experience in customer service, billing support, accounts receivable, financial services, or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Experience supporting customers through payment, invoicing, or account-related inquiries.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions and maintaining records.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Comfort learning new systems, processes, and digital tools.
Intermediate proficiency with CRM, billing, payment, or customer service platforms.
Six month contract in Teaneck, NJ.
