Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer order processing activities from order entry through delivery while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role supports internal and external customers by resolving inquiries related to orders, pricing, product availability, billing, and shipment status. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience working in customer service and order management environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage customer order processing transactions accurately and in a timely manner from order entry to delivery commitment.
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to orders, pricing, product availability, delivery status, billing, and documentation.
  • Handle customer order issues and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve concerns efficiently.
  • Manage accounts and order backlogs while proactively communicating delays and alternative solutions to customers.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipment pickup and delivery.
  • Liaise with manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors as needed.
  • Work closely with Finance teams regarding Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable matters.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to order management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational KPIs, SLAs, and documentation standards.
  • Prepare reports and complete additional projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or some college education required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and order processing preferred.
  • Experience handling end-to-end order management processes (Quote to Bill).
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent keyboard/data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Salesforce (SFDC), and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult customer interactions professionally.
