Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Enter customer orders and quotes into ERP system (Cloud Suite Distribution)Provide support for field sales team via quoting, order entry, and order statusesAssists field sales with new part setups, sourcing requests, and non-stocks with Corporate PurchasingProactively identify issues and provide solutions.Provides suggestions for cost savings, process improvement and enhanced customer serviceDemonstrates product knowledge proficiency by utilizing all resources available to stay currentUtilizing ticketing system for communications with internal and external customers (Zendesk)Work closely with other departments to provide exemplary customer serviceSupervisory Responsibilities:N/AGeneral Qualifications:Effective individual contributor with the ability to successfully work within a teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsCommunicate and behave in a professional manner at all timesSolid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectivelyProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to meet appropriate deadlinesDetail oriented and results focusedCommitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customersEffective time management skillsGood mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical informationRequired Experience & Educational Requirements:3 years customer service experience in distribution preferredHigh school diploma or equivalency requiredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
