Customer Service Representative

SNELLING is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for a growing Tyler-area employer. We are seeking dependable, professional individuals with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively assist customers through phone, email, and online communication channels. Pay rate is $17.00/hr. Some Saturday’s required in busy season. (January – June)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and live chat.
• Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments and maintain accurate customer records.
• Research customer accounts, order history, and product information across multiple systems.
• Resolve customer questions, concerns, and order-related issues professionally and courteously.
• Document customer interactions and update account information as needed.
• Assist walk-in customers when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Adapt to changing priorities and seasonal business demands.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone throughout the day
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple software systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong work ethic

Preferred

• Previous customer service, call center, retail, administrative, or office experience
• Experience with order entry, payment processing, or customer account management
• Experience working in a high-volume customer service environment
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously
