Customer Service Representative

We currently have a position open for a Customer Service Representative for Aviation Welding Technologies, LLC in Uxbridge, MA

Essential Job Functions:

• Functions as primary focal point of contact for assigned customer related inquiries and represents the customer within the facility.
• Performs customer requirements review of all assigned orders to ensure that the orders are processed and entered per negotiated requirements.
• Coordinates demand scheduling and alignment with Production Management.
• Develops extensive and detailed quotes based on inspection details.
• Manages customer database and maintains all records for the account.
• Ensures that the company and customers’ requirements are both being fulfilled as relating to timing, price and satisfaction.
• Review compliance with all export control regulations.
• Provides continuous feedback to the customer on order status throughout the production cycle by providing proactive communication with the customer in anticipation of customers’ needs.
• Evaluates and coordinates product exchange applicability (MRO Exchange programs) with Materials and Purchasing.
• Confers with production, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace shipments
• Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels; conducts self in polite and professional manner.
• Demonstrates a motivation to provide fast, accurate and complete customer service at all times to all customers, employees and management.
• Uses resources effectively to generate solutions; takes initiative when resolving problems.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel.

• Ability to work overtime, shift/weekends when needed.

Working Conditions

• Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and reaching. Occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds. Repetitive hand movement, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity required. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range necessary.

Education/Training

• High school diploma required; a college degree in a business-related field is preferred.

Experience:   At least 1 year of customer service experience. Experience working in the aviation industry or manufacturing environment preferred.
