Customer Service Representative

Summary:

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Duration: 11/9/2026 - 5/8/2027

Location: Warwick, RI

Responsibilities:

• Support customers with inquiries related to defined benefit annuities or pensions.
• Provide clear explanations of policy details, payments, and account status.
• Complete account maintenance requests, including direct deposit and address changes, beneficiary and death notifications.
• Assist throughout the claims process.
• Explain complex financial information clearly and accurately.
• Multitask across multiple systems during live customer interactions.
• Use AI enhancements to complete job tasks.
• Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate strong reliability through consistent attendance and adherence to schedules.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service or call center experience, preferably in financial services.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Training:

• Conducted on-site at the Warwick, Rhode Island office.
• Five-week instructor-led training program followed by a two-week nesting period.
• Attendance and completion of all training sessions is mandatory.
• Post-training, work from home with a requirement to work in the Warwick office at least one day per month.
• Travel to the Warwick office required if experiencing system issues at home office.

Home Office Requirements:

• Quiet and secure place to work, free of distractions.
• High-speed internet with Ethernet connection; hotspots are not allowed.

Schedules/Availability:

• Available to work Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
• Flexibility in shift assignments required based on business needs.
• Schedules determined using a ranking system based on performance in training.
