The Customer Service Representative will typically do the following: listen and respond to customers’ needs and concerns, provide information about products and services, take orders, determine charges, review or make changes to customer accounts, handle questions or complaints, record details for customer contacts, research answers or solutions as needed, refer customers to supervisors, managers or other team members as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with international customer accounts.
- Communicate with customers, sales representatives, distributors, and the production manager with any order updates.
- Process quotations, purchase orders, and other related information for order entry, and process customers’ claims.
- Prepare and enter technical drawings, recommend potential products and services to customers.
- Analyze customers’ needs and collaborate with management to develop customer accounts.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2+ years’ experience in customer service
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but will consider a combination of education and experience in place of a degree
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
- Understanding of tight precision tolerances preferred
- Technical aptitude is a plus
- Strong computer skills and advanced working knowledge of MS Office
- Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, sales representatives, other team members, and distributors while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must be detail-oriented and well-organized
- Multilingual is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for 8 or more hours per day; stand, kneel, walk, and bend as required throughout the workday to accomplish various tasks.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, or carry various types of lightweight files or tools (approximately 1-10 pounds) and process accordingly.
