Now hiring Customer Service Representative

West Monroe, LA

Pay Rate: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Previous customer service experience required; healthcare or DME experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification processes is a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls and orders
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients and caregivers with ordering medical supplies, including adult diapers and related products
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers
  • Process new patient intakes, including collecting required documentation and prescriptions
  • Submit and track insurance authorizations and claims
  • Communicate with physicians' offices to obtain necessary documentation (CMNs, prescriptions, etc.)
  • Follow up on orders, backorders, and shipment status to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and support
  • Resolve billing or coverage issues with patients and insurance companies
