Customer Service Representative
Ace Handyman Services Columbus is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for homeowners, you'll play a critical role in creating an exceptional customer experience while helping keep our craftsmen's schedules full and productive.

What You'll Do
Customer Service & Scheduling
- Answer inbound customer calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly
- Return missed calls and follow up with customers
- Contact new leads and convert inquiries into booked appointments - No cold calls!
- Follow up on estimates and outstanding opportunities
- Schedule appointments and coordinate customer projects
- Manage and optimize craftsmen schedules to maximize productivity
- Generate sales opportunities through proactive customer communication
Additional Responsibilities
As training and workload allow, you may also:
- Collect customer deposits
- Process payments
- Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups
- Assist with administrative projects and office support functions
- Support other operational needs as assigned

What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional customer service and phone communication skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning and using scheduling, CRM, and office software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Associate degree in business, communications, administration, or a related field
- Experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, call center operations, or office administration
- Experience in a home services, construction, or trades-related business
- Sales, lead conversion, or appointment-setting experience
