Job Title: Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative (Contract to Hire) – Wilmington, DE 

Schedule: Must be available to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, including the standard 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM shift
Location: Remote – Local Candidates to Wilmington, DE Only
Job Type: 3-Month Contract

Sigma Systems Inc. is a leading staffing firm currently hiring a Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative for a valued client in Wilmington, DE. This is a full-time remote contract-to-hire opportunity designed for professionals with strong communication and customer service skills, particularly in healthcare or insurance call centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to inbound calls regarding claims status, eligibility, and benefit information
  • Handle inquiries from both members and healthcare providers
  • Navigate multiple computer systems, including Avaya for call handling
  • Deliver high-quality service while maintaining empathy and professionalism
  • Adhere to call center metrics, standards, and attendance requirements
  • Participate in a camera-on virtual training program; active engagement required

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal communication and computer navigation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to attendance and punctuality
  • Must be comfortable working on camera during training and calls
  • A quiet, professional home office setup is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare or health insurance call center experience
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Call center background highly preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Important Notes:

  • Attendance is critical: Missing more than 3 days during the 6-week training may result in termination
  • This is not a flexible role – full commitment during training and working hours is required
  • No smoking (including e-cigarettes or vape) allowed during training or calls
  • Child-care or elder-care responsibilities should not interfere with job duties or training
