Customer Service // Service Advisor

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Counter Sales Representative / Service Advisor to join a busy automotive repair shop. This person will be the first point of contact for customers and will play an important role in providing a positive customer experience from the time they walk through the door.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine the reason for their visit
  
• Listen to customers and gather information about their vehicle concerns or service needs
  
• Create and write up service tickets/work orders
  
• Prepare and explain estimates to customers
  
• Communicate repair and service information clearly and professionally
  
• Enter and maintain customer and vehicle information in the computer system
  
• Answer phones and assist with customer questions
  
• Communicate with technicians regarding customer needs and repair status
  
• Keep customers updated throughout the service process
  
• Provide professional and friendly customer service
  

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Must be well-spoken and comfortable communicating with customers
  
• Comfortable using computers and learning/navigating different software programs
  
• Strong attention to detail when preparing tickets and estimates
  
• Able to communicate pricing and repair information clearly
  
• Professional appearance and attitude
  
• Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• Automotive or repair shop experience is a plus
