PRIMARY PURPOSE Responsible for all aspects of customer serviceDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESComply with all Plastic Trends Employee Conduct and Work Rules; comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook.Responsible for all aspects of customer service for specific territories including:Maintenance of remote consigned inventoriesAct as primary contact for both customers and representativesMaintenance of pricing information for territoryFollow up on past due accountsGeneration of various reports and logsWritten and oral correspondence with customers and co-workersPerform daily tasks which include but are not limited to:Entering orders into the order entry systemFrequently check and verify inventory availabilityProper handling of credits, returns, billing discrepancies, shipping problems, etc.Generation of necessary shipping and invoicing formsCare of all phone requests from our customers and manufacturing repsPerform all other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detailAbility to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.Should have experience handling a high volume of in-bound calls and have previous order entry experience.Should have solid account management experience.Candidates should be team oriented, customer focused and dependable while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.Should also be computer literate and have strong record keeping skills. Minimum two years experience in a customer service position, preferably in a manufacturing organization.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit for long periods of time; it is also occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs and use hands/fingers to operate office equipment. Light physical effort is required (ability to move objects weighing 5-10 pounds from one area to another). Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
